Apple launches new round of beta versions with Apple Intelligence features
Currently only devices with Apple Intelligence support will have new beta
Apple publishes beta for iOS/iPadOS 18.2 and macOS Sequoia 15.2. Xcode 16.2 beta is also available.
Beta brings Image Playground, ChatGPT integration for Siri and Writing Tools, Visual Intelligence, Genmoji.
Mail app now has AI-based categorization support.
Beta also brings Apple Intelligence to new regions with English language.
Default apps now could be set in Settings. EU users will also be able to change defaults for more apps (also, EU users will be able to delete more of system apps).
Apple also now allows developers to test apps and marketplaces targeted to EU users outside EU. This doesn’t allow developers to side-load third-party apps to their devices though.
