Apple updates app distribution rules for EU

Apple introduces changes for developers in EU.

Changes include:

• Developers are allowed to communicate to users with promotional offers (that could include purchases outside App Store)

• New business terms with adjusted rules on initial acquisition fees, store services fees, Core Technology Commission is to replace Core Technology Fee by next year

• Later this year Apple to provide API to download apps from within other apps (without using Marketplace app)

Apple updated relevant legal documentation to reflect these changes.
