CarPlay gets new features in iOS 26

AirPlay videos, multitouch gestures, live sport scores and new display zoom options

Apple to allow users to watch videos on CarPlay screens on some vehicles while stationary.

AirPlay video in the car enables people to watch their favorite videos from iPhone right on their CarPlay display when they aren’t driving. Integrate support for CarPlay with AirPlay video to enable this feature in your car.

Multitouch map gestures are coming to supported vehicles in iOS 26 too. Support for sports app layout is added to display scores of the ongoing game.

New Smart Display Zoom allows to adjust display scale and position elements on the screen according to driver’s preferences.
