New specification to allow export and import passkeys

Specification is not yet implemented by platforms though

FIDO Alliance publishes new passkeys specification to allow credential transfer between platforms.

Specification introduces Credential Exchange Protocol (CXP) and Credential Exchange Format (CXF) to allow devices belonging to different ecosystems to transfer passkeys.

It is expected that new specification will be supported by Apple’s password management tools in upcoming OS updates.
